Cookie and browser storage notice.

The public workspace uses a functional session cookie. This notice also explains local browser storage.

Updated 9 September 2026

Matrix browser storage

Earlier versions used local storage named avenset.matrix.plans.v1 for matrix review plans. The current matrix no longer writes or reads those plans. Existing data has no automatic expiry; clear Avenset site data in your browser settings to remove it. The current motion control uses avenset.motion.v1 to remember whether you prefer reduced motion. Neither key is a tracking identifier. This storage is separate from the seven day workspace cookie.

Functional workspace cookie

When you use the investment workspace, the service can set a cookie named vantage_demo. It contains a random session identifier, not an email address or investment details. It is used to retrieve your separate demonstration workspace. On the HTTPS site it is Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict, with a maximum age of seven days.

The resource guide

The guide does not need a tracking cookie, account or stored profile. Its conversation and role selection remain in the current page. A selected resource may be included in the URL so you can share or revisit it.

External destinations

Calendly and LinkedIn are opened only when you follow their links. They may use their own cookies under their own notices. You can clear the Avenset workspace cookie in your browser settings; doing so disconnects that browser from its existing temporary workspace.
